The CarrDealer App is designed to give dealerships a powerful mobile companion to the CarrDealer Portal, enabling staff to manage vehicles quickly and accurately from anywhere on-site. Dealers can use the CarrDealer App to seamlessly upload vehicles as they enter or leave the service drive or loaner fleet. # Privacy & Data Ownership

Your privacy is central to the Carnomaly experience. Our platform is designed so that you remain in control of your data at every stage.

* **Blockchain storage** – Vehicle history records are written directly to CarrChain. Once recorded, the data is permanent, tamper-proof, and tied to the vehicle itself. In practice, this means the vehicle “owns” its history, not Carnomaly or any third party. But it is stored on a public blockchain.
* **Anonymous communications** – When you interact with dealers through the Carnomaly App, your identity remains private. Dealers only see anonymised information until you share your details at the point of sale.
* **We don’t store your data** – Carnomaly does not hold your personal information. Sensitive records either remain on-chain or in your direct control.
* **Data travels with the vehicle** – Service history and ownership records follow the car, not the previous owner. This ensures transparency for buyers and helps sellers achieve fairer valuations.


# CarrScan Explorer

CarrScan is the official blockchain explorer for CarrChain. It promotes transparency, security and trust by allowing public access to blockchain data. Specifically for Carnomaly it allows the verification of vehicle related transactions such as digital VINs, service history updates and marketplace exchanges.

The explorer allows anyone to:

* Search and view transactions, blocks, and wallet addresses; view detailed information about every transaction on CarrChain, including sender and receiver addresses, transaction status, timestamps, associated fees, wallet activities and balances, block height and included transactions.
* Verify smart contract deployments, interactions and contract source code when available.
* Track vehicle history hashes and attestations recorded on CarrChain.
* Confirm activity on the network in real time.
* Access real-time data and analytics on CarrChain’s performance such as network speed, transaction volume, and gas usage.

# Arbitrum & Orbit

## Arbitrum

Arbitrum is a Layer 2 (L2) scaling solution for Ethereum. Instead of forcing every transaction to be processed directly on Ethereum, Arbitrum batches transactions, executes them efficiently on its own chain, and posts the results back to Ethereum for settlement.

This design provides:

* Lower costs – gas fees are a fraction of Ethereum mainnet.
* Higher throughput – more transactions can be processed per second.
* Ethereum-level security – all Arbitrum activity is ultimately secured by Ethereum.

Arbitrum has become one of the leading Layer 2s, supporting a large ecosystem of apps, DeFi protocols, and custom networks.

## Arbitrum Orbit

Arbitrum Orbit is the framework that allows projects to build their own custom Layer 3 (L3) chains on top of Arbitrum.

An Orbit chain inherits Ethereum’s security and Arbitrum’s scalability while giving projects the freedom to:

* Choose native or custom tokens for gas.
* Decide whether the chain is public or permissioned.

# Layered Architecture

1. **Layer 1 (Ethereum Mainnet):**
   * **Security and Settlement:** CarrChain inherits Ethereum's security through the Rollup or AnyTrust protocols of Arbitrum.
   * **Data Finality:** Ethereum acts as the ultimate settlement layer, ensuring the integrity and finality of transactions executed on CarrChain.
2. **Layer 2 (Arbitrum):**
   * **Scalability with Rollup Technology:** Arbitrum uses Rollup technology to batch transactions and compress data, reducing fees and improving throughput.
   * **Data Availability Models:**
     * **Rollup Mode:** Posts all transaction data on Ethereum, offering full decentralization and security.
     * **AnyTrust Mode:** Reduces costs by maintaining data availability off-chain with a trusted data committee.
3. **Layer 3 (CarrChain):**
   * **Custom Native Gas Token:** CarrChain uses its own token for paying transaction fees, allowing for specialized economic models and incentives within the ecosystem.
   * **EVM+ Compatibility:** Supports smart contracts written in Solidity as well as additional languages like Rust, C, and C++ through Arbitrum Stylus.
   * **Application-Specific Logic:** Optimized for automotive use cases, providing tailored features for vehicle identity management, marketplaces, and automotive financial products.

The chain uses EIP-1559 so gas price will fluctuate based on network usage. There is a minimum gas price floor set to 0.01 gwei to keep the chain in a sustainable state.&#x20;

Block gas limit - maximum amount of gas that can be consumed by all of the transactions within a block:

# On\_Chain Vehicle Indexing

We have adopted a vehicle indexing method which is simple, private and reliable by indexing hashed VINs (Vehicle Identification Number) into DVINs (Digital Vehicle Identification Number).

How this works:

* Every vehicle has a unique VIN
* Instead of publishing the VIN directly on\_chain, CarrChain generates a cryptographic hash of the VIN
* The hash acts as the vehicle’s Digital VIN

This means that actual VINs are not exposed on the blockchain, the same VIN always produces the same hash and the identifier corresponds to a real vehicle, not just a random number.

CarrChain supports batch minting of vehicles ensuring the system is efficient and affordable to run at scale.


# Bridge

A bridge transfers tokens between different blockchains, enabling cross-chain interoperability between CarrChain and other major blockchains. This cross-chain bridge facilitates the movement of tokens and connects our chain with established blockchain giving users the ability to transfer funds/add liquidity to CarrChain.&#x20;

The Carnomaly bridge is built on top of the Hyperlane protocol.

Our bridge uses a locking mechanism whereby CARR token on one chain is locked up upon release of CARR token on another chain.&#x20;
